Small businesses can take group insurances and get a lot of freebies thrown in; for instance, small business can get free preventive screening care. Some insurance companies will also waive the lifetime limits on other covered medical services.

Small business can also benefit by changing their expensive health-care plan with a better plan. Talking with their employees and hitting upon a plan they are ready to pay for in part, small business can provide better health-care at lower rates.

The health care reform legislation also benefits small businesses that contribute 50% or more towards their employees. Such small businesses with annual salary lesser than $50,000 and with fewer than 25 employees on their payroll to get about 35% credit on their employee health insurance premiums.
