3 Ways Top Sales People Get the Most Out of Each Day
It is no coincidence that A-Players continue to get the results week in and week out.

Great salespeople know how to get the job done. Here are three little ways they maintain their edge:

1. Know the Numbers. Great salespeople can tell you exactly what they need to reach daily, weekly, monthly and even annual sales goals. They can also break down the number of prospecting calls, appointments scheduled, proposals, and presentations they need in order to meet those goals.

2. Plan Out the Day in Advance. Strong salespeople make a list of what they need to accomplish each day. They scratch off items as the complete them and move on to the next. It's a great way to maintain focus and continually feel a sense of accomplishment. It also insures nothing falls between the cracks.

3. Confirm All Appointments. The 10 minutes a day it takes to confirm a meeting is worth so much more than the potential time wasted by going out to see a prospect who can't meet with you. Plus, it puts the prospect in a frame of mind where they welcome the meeting.
