7-7-07 Lucky Day?

Have you heard? Today, July 7, 2007, is supposed to be the luckiest day of the century. All those sevens in a line. If you are a gambler you might be having a field day.
Luck is a personal belief. Some are quite superstitious: if you have a horse shoe, it must be hanging with the open ends facing upward so the luck doesn't run out. An elephant statue must have the tusk pointing upward for the same reason.
So how do you feel about luck? Are you a lucky person or do you believe in making your own luck?
Scott Ginsberg of Hello My Name is Scott recently appeared on 20/20 as part of a segment on luck. As a long time reader of Scott's blog, I know that he is NOT a believer in luck – in fact, he believes it is all about putting yourself out there, making yourself available, and creating your own LUCK that creates the illusion that some consider being a lucky person.
Scott has written a three part series on How to become the luckiest person. I would encourage you to read parts one and two and to view his 20/20 video segment.
Read between the lines – there is no such thing as luck – it's all about hard work – focused, deliberate, energetic efforts.
So is July 7, 2007 a lucky day? It's as lucky as you make it!
