A Low-Water Mark for Broadcast TV Viewing
What does this mean for all of the different industries and professions that surround network TV? I smell opportunity!

TV viewers must have taken to the beach: It was the least-watched week in recorded history for the four biggest broadcast networks.

CBS, ABC, NBC and Fox averaged 20.8 million viewers during the average prime-time minute last week, according to Nielsen Media Research. That sunk below the previous record, set during the last week of July in 2005.

There is a continuing trend of mainstream historical media usage dropping. newspapers and television usership (is that a word) I know are down and I think radio is as well.

Is the internet responsible for all of this or are we using our time differently than we have in the past? Thoughts?
