A Simple, Easy, And Effective Tool To Overcome Time And Distance In Customer Relations

BlogPicture

It's nice to have clients and customers right next door, nearby so you can run over to share an idea, discuss an option, or review an update. It's nice, but rare.

Reality is most businesses have clients and customers spread across town, if not state and country. Some do business across borders and around the world. There's little convenient opportunity to sit together.

Inexpensive telephony solutions and wide spread use of email and presentation software make things better, but there's nothing quite like sitting face-to-face when discussing business.

A service I use to virtually meet with prospects and clients is eBlvd. eBlvd is a web presentation and meeting service. There are many such services out there, but I prefer eBlvd. Why? It's inexpensive, easy to use, and supports all applications I use in discussions with clients. If you can bring it up on your computer desktop, you can share it with anyone at the other end of the service. Here is a complete list of features and pricing.

I use eBlvd for sales meetings, presentations, demonstrations, education, coaching, etc. It's a great service for small groups, separated by distance, to share ideas.

The point of this post isn't to use eBlvd, I'm not an affiliate, but to use tools and technology available to get nearer your prospects and customers. Find and use innovate and creative tools to exchange ideas and present solutions. Expand your business beyond your immediate market and geography; it's never before been as easy to overcome time and distance.

What tools do you use to meet or collaborate with customers? Any best practices to share?

Yes, i agree to the points you have raised. I also write about PR and dealing with customers across the globe is one of the issues Pr must try to solve. It is really hard for conversation to flow when distance is a disadvantage. I guess, the thing you have suggested will help a lot in improving communication between the businessman and customer.
