As Long As You're Wearing A Shirt And Shoes, Does Much Else Matter?
When I first started my career in sales, the business suit was the uniform of the day. It was taboo to visit a client with anything less than a suit and tie, sport coats were forbidden.

Soon that changed.

Sport coat and tie became acceptable and later business casual became okay for most client visits. Still, the standard issue dark suit was appropriate for first meetings and formal get-togethers.

But what about workers tethered to a cubical? Does their dress matter?

With exception to obvious over the top dress - profane language on shirts for example - what difference does it make what you wear?

If you're sitting in a cubical all day...who cares?

I don't. Do you?
