BizInformer has a New Business Blogger

If you think you can do a thing or think you can't do a thing, you're right. – Henry Ford

Greetings! I am Greg and I will be taking over the business blogger position at BizInformer. I am excited to have this opportunity. I hope to meet the high standards set by my predecessors.

As I prepared to write this post, I thought about how best to introduce myself. As penelope Trunk notes in a recent post at her blog, learning who you are and your personality type often results in finding out who you are not. She suggests taking a personality test as a career tool.

So, in the interest of garnering reader trust, I thought the best way to introduce myself was to post the results of my personality testing. According to the truncated Myers-Brigg test on PersonalityType.com, I am an ESFP (Extravert, Sensor, Feeler, Perceiver). A quick Google search on "ESFP" suggests that I would be a good dental assistant or sports equipment salesperson. Actually, I am an attorney, so I am not sure how accurate those results are.

I decided, again in the interest of garnering reader trust, to try out some other testing. Outofservice.com has a number of online psychological tests including the Big 5 personality test. After the test, the site provides you with the HTML code to provide a link to persons interested in your results. On the test, I'm a O84-C10-E74-A44-N87 (you can follow that link directly to the results of my test and you will understand the meaning of the photo).

So, that is who I am. I look forward to our discussion from here on out. Please leave your comments, suggestions and insight.
