I was reading Duct Tape Marketing, as I do regularly, and learned about bloglines new list of the top 1000 blogs. Duct Tape weighs in at #59 which is pretty darn good when you think the measurement is any blog topic.

The first blog is technical for Nerds- called Slashdot.

Dilbert comes in at number 2.

Number 3 is Engadget another technical blog.

Wired is number 4.

Boing Boing a blog of "wonderful things" - technical gadgets comes in at number 5.

So basically the top five are a bunch of techie stuff and an HR cartoon. Hmmm.

Here's my challenge with the list - I couldn't find an easy way to search for blogs I'm familiar with to see where they weight in.

That not withstanding - the list is pretty interesting. If you are like me, you spend the majority of time reading blogs that relate to your industry and so this list exposes you to some different topics. Have be to honest - except for Dilbert, I won't be signing up for the other top blogs just now, but thought you might be interested in taking a look.
