Blogging. The blog. Every business needs a blog. Or so you are told. You do not know where to start. Your business has a website and you like reading blogs, but how to start a blog?

For example, they point out a connection to dazzlindonna.com that has a great tutorial for installing Wordpress. If this post does not get you up and blogging, then you were not meant to enter the blogosphere.

I would only add one thing to the shoestring post. The post suggests using godaddy.com to register your domain name. I would also suggest paying the $6.99 for private registration that is offered through godaddy. Private registration eliminates problems related to having your name, address, email address, and phone number available to be reviewed. This is important to eliminate spam and other scams. I would also add aplus.net to companies to consider for web hosting. Plans from aplus.net can be as low as $5.95 per month with a two-year sign up. Finally, I love the chat support feature at aplus.net.

Investing in and building the blog is, believe it or not, the easy part. Writing every day, keeping content fresh is the most difficult part.
