A career is wonderful, but you can't curl up with it on a cold night. - Marilyn Monroe

Check out Penelope Trunk's tongue in cheek article about ashley dupree (the alleged call girl). Ms. Trunk notes the important career lessons that can be gleaned from Ms. Dupree and the Governor Spitzer scandal. She notes that Ms. Dupree has made $200,000 from downloads of her music from her MySpace page.
I thought the article was a great way to illustrate three career strategies. Some of her commentators felt otherwise. Some complained that the post tried to make prostitution "cute," while another took issue with the fact the post ignored the reality that some bad people will take advantage of this scandal for their own gain (namely, pimps).
What do you think? P.S.: Bonus points for any commenter that connects the picture on the left with this post.
