CEO Diseases and How to Cure Them

Tip of the hat to Chief Executive Magazine
This is a great diagnosis and prescription article about 12 diseases that CEO's can catch. I think a big one was missed, I call it 'This is Good Enough' disease, usually cured by a strong dose of business collapse or failure.
Here are some of the remaining 12:
- Talking Too Much
- Goals Too Aggressive
- Power Building Trumps Wealth Building
- Not Respecting or Recognizing the Ideas of Others
Do you have any of these diseases? Check our the remaining CEO Diseases and How to Cure Them

I do like the “Goals too aggressive” disease. Because there is so much talk about having a great vision, sometimes the practical outworkings of that great vision can be unrealistically presented as attainable in a very short period of time. This does much more harm for morale, the most anything I can think of.

I struggle with that one, I like aggressive goals. The dissonance between current state and an aggressive goal is motivating to me but not to everyone.
