I just finished going through the process annually updating my life biography . I try to take a look at the ups and downs that have occurred across the 52 years of my life.

Doing so does two things, it humbles me if I am too cocky about how my life is going and encourages me if I am in a rough patch. I guess I use this process to gain perspective and accumulate wisdom. It isn't always easy though as some lessons are painful.
