I'm sure what they mean is it's inexpensive.
There's a huge difference between cheap and inexpensive. Inexpensive leads to a great conversation on value. Cheap is...well...cheap.
My suggestion is you train yourself to speak about your low cost, high value offer as being inexpensive. And refer to your competitor's inexpensive offer as being cheap.
Two products cost the same. One is cheap, the other is inexpensive. Which would you rather own?
