Cloudsourcing: Cloud Computing and Your Small Business
It seems like every few weeks we end up talking about cloud computing and its impact on business.
Cloud computing has a lot of potential for the business world. It can make your office mobile because you can access your data and records from any computer terminal. It can cut your hardware expenses. Who needs all those servers and all that memory when you can store your data and access your applications on the web? But it can also increase your liabilities if your online security isn't up to snuff.
Now cloud computing is giving birth to a new type of outsourcing: call it cloudsourcing. Almost any tech service can now be contracted from cyberspace, in a cloud-based format.
