Have you tried reading one of these online digital magazines yet? I mean one that literally emulates the magazine, ads and all.

If you haven't try the link below to read a copy of Fortune Small Business. It is running in something called Olive Software.

I think it looks nice, the application has all of the necessary controls, I can look in the Table of Contents and click on a title and go to the article. It processes fairly fast and there is a nice set of functions you can use to move througout the magazine.

Still missing for me is the tactile feel of a magazine and the portability. (no not the bathroom)
