Do More Words Equal More Meaning?
Reading a post at ePbublishingDaily raised a few thoughts worthy of sharing. Here they are:

ePublishingDaily. eBooks don't need to be 200 pages, 80 are fine. The idea is to cover your topic in a thorough manner, not fill as many pages as you can.

Direct Response Works. abraham lincoln only used 2 minutes and 268 words to make one heck of a point. In fact he made several that will live forever. Why do you need more than 15 minutes to tell the story of your company, products, and services?

Jim Logan. A 100 slide presentation isn't inherently better than a 10 slide presentation. The point is to make your point. And create a compelling story to act. If it only takes 3 slides??? That's Okay.

See the theme?

Communication isn't about volume, it's about message. Your job as a communicator is to communicate. Don't focus on how many pages there are, how many words were used, how many slides there are in the presentation or how long the meeting is scheduled for. Stay focused on your message and its ability to be read and understood by your target audience.

It's never about volume. More words don't equate to more meaning. Do you agree?
