Do You Look Through the Windshield or Rearview Mirror of Your Business?
Have you ever contemplated the mathematical equation of what percentage of vision the rearview mirror is compared to the windshield? Both are important, we need to know what is behind us to help determine how we view the scene in front of us, but do you find you spend more time in the rearview mirror?

It can be tempting to concentrate on the images we see in the rearview mirror; things we've done or said, things we shouldn't have done or said, things we WISH we'd done or said.

But it's done. Whatever IT is, is done and can't be changed. We need to refer to it on occasion so we don't hit the same pothole or oil slick, but our focus needs to be forward; through the windshield of life, of our business.

The view in front of us hasn't happened yet - we can impact it - we can turn sharply to avoid a bumpy spot or purposefully select the path less traveled.

What do you see in front of you? Which direction do you want to go? Focus your eyes forward - the view is limitless.
