Entrepreneur – You are Never to Young

A friend of mine Ron McDaniel, has helped his daughter start up a new business venture over the last year called Kid's Roar which the kids are making a vary transparent company online.
For example here is the guidelines for Board of Director membership:
The board members:
- Begin between 8 and 12 years of age when they join.
- Must retire by 18.
- Must purchase their seat. Or a company can pay for it for them. We think $20,000 is great to help us get started. But if we can get other money to help us get started we can make it less.
- Must be approved by 75% of board members in a public vote.
- Must come to all board meetings unless a good excuse, and must come to most of the other meetings.
They make their financials, their operations and more visible on the site. In fact they are providing an interesting model for other businesses to follow.
Check out Kid's Roar today and maybe you will learn something.
