Check out his blog entitled "Which Picture Pulled Best?"
In it, he offers a scenario of a book that is being sold and needs to determine what picture to use in the advertising. He offers several scenarios and then opens it up for discussion.
To date - 32 people have responded with a variety of answers and their reasons for the answer.
At one point Bob answers back saying essentially, get a grip, we are selling a product here - you are over analyzing.
The dialogue makes for great reading and should also make you think. Do we over analyze our marketing message? Wouldn't we be better served to identify our target customer, the specific Objective
and then just spell it out? I picked "C", by the way. Which did you pick?
