Financial Cushion

Financial Cushion
I had money burning a hole in my checking account. That doesn't happen very often, but in the past I have foolishly left it there and before you know it - POOF - it's gone.

So today I decided to Throwlinks it into a CD. That done - the banker said to me - do you have a line of credit?

No. I'd thought about it but hoped my business would never be in a position that I would need a line of credit.

Then she said to me: You know, it's better to apply for a line of credit when you don't need it rather than wait until you do and then you can't.

What a great thought.

A little cushion that I won't ever need. Unless of course I might like to expand my business. And it costs nothing until I use it. Hmmm.

So give it some thought. It took a mere few minutes and yet now I have a safety net. It is a freeing feeling. Click here for a line of credit calculator.
