Honda Goes Airborne
In a week where the new airbus takes flight, Honda announces their first venture into the air with their corporate jet, HondaJet. Greensborolinks, NC is the home of this new venture however won't be for sale until 2010. They already have over 100 orders so far.

Fortune Magazine has a little blurb describing the new vehicle, stating that the Honda Jet is lighter and more fuel efficient than their competitors due to a construction made from composites instead of aluminum.

But still, at a price tag of $3.65 million - it will take a rare individual indeed who can afford such a luxury.

When I worked for Pearle Vision I had the opportunity to travel for a number of business trips on our corporate jet and the ability to drive right on the tarmac - just like in the movies - and zip right up in the air as soon as you snap your buckle, was a delight. Definitely the way to travel.

However, with a cabin ceiling height of only 4 feet and 11 inches - I dare say, comfort is not one of the primary features of the Honda jet.

If you had an extra $4 million laying around, would you buy a jet or something else for your business?
