Networking
by Deborah Brown on June 28, 2007

And it is all about sharing that illumination that has Chris Brown, Brand and Market, and I inspired enough to host the first (of many) gathering of the Akron Bloggers Community (ABC).
We have invited 16 business bloggers that we have enjoyed reading, or have heard referred to and we asked each to bring one other business blogger to the event.
Truly inspired by Mike Sansone of ConverStations (who needs all our warm wishes and prayers right now, check out Drew's latest update) and his band of Iowa bloggers. Chris emailed Mike after meeting him at SOBCon07 and hearing more about their collaborative efforts. He graciously responded with all kinds of advice and well wishes as we begin networking and connecting IN PERSON with area bloggers.
So I ask you - have you reached out in your community to area bloggers for encouragement, links, advice, tips for traffic?
What worked?
What didn't?
What advice do you have for us as we launch a cooperative blogging effort in Akron, Ohio? Are you in Greater Akron? If so and you didn't get an invitation - comment here and I'll provide all the information.
Wish us luck!

Is it open only to business bloggers, or can anyone who blogs from Akron attend?

Pho,
Great blog! Everyone who is a regular blogger is welcome. We started the focus on business, however we know that we all have great info to share. I'll email you with the details. Hope to see you there!
