I Can Name That Tune In Five Notes
Do you remember the game show where people would challenge each other to guess a song with the fewest of notes?

I was reading Logic+Emotion and found a post entitled Saying More With Less.

When did we get to be so wordy? Even our names are getting longer with hyphens and initials.

Remember Cher? I think she was the first artist known by just one name. Even today there are few who can claim that distinction.

Why don't we leave more to the imagination? We feel the need to spell things out, explain it from all angles, until we have over communicated our audience into a state of boredom.

Think about using less words the next time you are having a conversation with a customer.

Too often we fill the Silence with words and end up turning the customer off.

Try it for one day: say what you mean - simple words, few words, honest words.

I wonder what would happen if we stopped tap dancing around what we really meant and just said the truth?
