Is It Time to Panic?

You are a Mom/Pop brick and mortar store and this weekend a nationwide chain is opening their doors within your market.
Is it time to panic?
It's past time.
Too frequently we wait until it's too late to do something about changes in our environment or in our industry.
The time for change is BEFORE it's needed. Be constantly on the look out for changing trends, customer desires and industry leaders initiatives. Be in the lead of changing trends so that the competition looks to YOU for the future.
If the competition is opening up down the block, the time to panic was when they signed the lease, not when they cut the grand opening ribbon.

If you think it's time to panic – it's probably already past time.
