Sales

Today I'm excited to share the news that a dear friend of mine Ann Burton, owner of Micadia (stands for "Maybe I Can Do It All") has just published her widely anticipated book for retailers called It's All About Retail.
Ann and I have been in the same Boardroom group for a number of years and with our shared background in retail sales we tend to gravitate to each other's view point. Before moving back to Ohio, Ann owned a very successful retail shop in Lexington, KY called Animal Crackers - a children's clothing store.
She brings her experience in retail to readers by offering a focused, simple-to-use yet valuable book filled with targeted initiatives and specific tasks. The book is broken down into 7 sections; marketing, merchandising, customer service, advertising, etc. On the left side of the page is an initiative and on the right side is a specific action or task you can take to accomplish the initiative.
It is a book you'll refer to over and over - created to benefit new owners/managers and those who have been in business a long time.
The big boxes, Internet retailers and chains have made it difficult for the individual store owner to stand out amongst all the clutter. It's All About Retail offers practical solutions you can start today.
Check it out.
