John Jantsch is My Hero

John Jantsch is My Hero

Okay, maybe that's a little strong, but if you've read any of John's posts at Duct Tape Marketing or his new book – you'd understand just what a wonderful source of information and ideas he is.

And guess what? Tomorrow I'll be attending a day long e-Marketing seminar in which John is the keynote and breakout speaker.

I realize I'm sounding a tad border-line stalker, but image having an opportunity to sit at the feet of someone you admire and soak up a few pieces of knowledge.

And that's not all, John isn't the only one speaking – there are a variety of e-marketing specialists who will be presenting. And you can bet some of the tips I learn will be posted here over the next few posts.

But I'm also excited about the networking opportunities. The seminar is SOLD OUT with a mix of marketing specialists, advertising execs, professional writers, SEO specialists, graphic designers, web developers. A room full of people who enjoy learning about the same stuff I like.

So I have to ask you…if you were going to this seminar, what questions would you ask? A friend of mine, who is unable to attend, said they would want to know if – with all of the web notoriety – is John making any money off his wildly successful blog?

It's a good question. What else would you ask? Also, if you were to attend the seminar with a friend/colleague, would you both go to the same breakout sessions – there can be comfort in numbers when you attend a gig with so many unfamiliar faces – or would you divide and conquer and then share your learns over a beer later?

I'm all for the beer – make mine a Coors Light.

If you are attending the e-Marketing session being held at Corporate College East in Cleveland, OH tomorrow – look for me – I'll be the one with a copy of John's book. hahaha – everyone attending receives a copy.

Anyway – come back soon and read what I learned!
