We all know that key words and phrases are key to readers finding our site on the web. There are many resources available for researching key words:
Wordtracker is the one I have used. But once you have narrowed it down to a few words – how do you know which is better.
For example as a web writer, some of my key phrases might be:
web site writer
Or you might use theof any of those words. So how do you know which is most commonly typed into the search bar?
Google offers a really cool tool that I learned about recently:
In the search bar you type in two different phrases or words separately by a "," and the results will show you over a period of time, in graph format, which word is most popular. It will show you by city, state, country and language. So if you are looking to attract International viewers – this is also a great site.
