For you readers who primarily manage your lives and business through the use of a PC or laptop, there is one very important action that should be added to your list, I WILL NOT LOSE MY DATA.
Like buying insurance, the concept of data recovery is not very exciting until disaster strikes in the form of a virus, worm or user error and system data must be recovered as soon as possible.
New Year's is the perfect time to get into developing good computing habits since many of us will have gotten even more fun gear to use on our computers. One thing we can always count on, is just about everything we do on our computer will create something that will need to be stored: And what needs to be stored, needs to be safeguarded.
The easiest way without using a lot of CD/DVDs, a separate hard drive or relying on online storage, is to save your information on a separate, hidden part of your hard drive.
Farstone Technology has made it easier to do just that with a data recovery solution called RestoreIT and I recommend adding this to your list of technology purchases for 2007.
Committ today to NOT LOSE YOUR DATA
