One Bulb At A Time
Filed in archive Goal Setting by Deborah Brown on January 31, 2007

I don't normally read forwarded emails, but since daffodils are my favorite flower - I opened it up.
The message told the story of a woman who began in 1958 with a dream of creating beauty on her property. Over time she planted 50,000 daffodil bulbs to create a sea of color for all to enjoy. One woman, one dream, one bulb at a time.
In the story, the storyteller felt a sense of lost for all she might have accomplished if she'd only started earlier.
But the message is this: Start today. One bulb at a time.
What is your dream? What one thing can you do today to start to make that dream a reality?
Don't waste time with regrets. Instead - keep your eyes forward - focused on the good you can do today and tomorrow and the tomorrows after that; one bulb at a time.
