If you have an hour, will you not improve that hour, instead of idling it away? - Lord Chesterfield

In the last few years, hundreds of universities have participated in making their course offerings and materials available online. Initiatives, such as the OpenCourseWare Consortium and Open Educational Resources, have assembled educational resources from some of the top centers of higher learning in the world and placed the materials online.
Personally, I have found the business education materials from MIT's Sloan School of Management to be a great tool for managers and business owners. For example, the school's course list includes both undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing, business psychology and business analysis. Take some time and explore some online college business education materials.
In addition to online courseware, blogger Jeff Cobb has assembled a list of 100 Free Places to Learn Online an impressive list definitely worth your time. Finally, The Personal MBA is a website devoted to the idea that any business person can learn advanced business principles through self-education.
