Quick Question about User Names and Passwords

I just signed up for PRLog to submit a press release on line for a customer and had to assign YET AGAIN a user name and password.

How am I supposed to remember what I said? Some want your email, some want a name, some want a password with numbers and letters, some have to be 7 characters in length, some longer, some shorter.

EGADS - WHAT IS A PERSON TO DO????

It's not like I can use my name and the name of my cat. It's so complicated.

At first I started putting them in my rolex. Then in my Outlook contacts. Then on post it notes.

Then I'd forget which fantastic filing system I'd used.

Inevitability I ended up clicking the little LOSER link that said I'd forgotten my password.

Well, I got clever. They would send me an email and I created an Outlook folder and saved all the emails with the unique user names and passwords.

What do you do? Do you just opt for the loser link or do you have a fantastic system for remembering all of your user names and passwords.

And yes, I know I can have Explorer or foxfire save them, but what if you delete your cookies (or in my case eat them. hahaha) or your computer crashes or you get a new computer.

So - what is the best system?
