Southeast Leads the US in Best for Business

Forbes has come out with a new list "Best Places to do Business or Start a Career." Five of the top ten cities are in North Carolina. Interestingly enough, a few of those same cities are the best places for singles. Correlation? I don't know.
Anyway, the article ranks 200 of the largest metropolitan areas based on business costs, living expenses, crime rate, college degrees, income and job growth rate.
Interesting, but are you going to pick up and move? I mean if you are in a part of the country that didn't rank in the top 10, 50 or 100 (as in my case) or perhaps you aren't even in the US – what does this information mean to you?
I wonder; if these cities are great for business and job hunting, might they also be good for prospecting? Consider the top ten cities and then visit their Craig's List. Perhaps you might want to place an ad for your products or services in those cities or check out the job openings for any contract work available.
Let's look at creative ways to use this information Forbes has so graciously compiled. While you are at it – check out the whole List section of their website – it is amazing the things you can see ranked; from billionaires to world's largest public companies to the top most influential women.
So what do you do when you read lists like this one?
