Spam: It’s like Cannibalism, Only Worse…

Seth also came up with the best definition of spam I've ever seen: Spam is unanticipated, impersonal, irrelevant junk I don't want to get.
Unanticipated is an excellent word for spam. Usually I hear the term unsolicited instead. But the energy that spam sucks out of me is partly from trying to figure out why I'm getting it.
The impersonal nature of spam is even more offensive when they find some way to include my name, even though they don't really know who I am.
