Start Your Day with a Special Treat

coffee.jpg

Okay, I don't want you to think that I intend to turn BizInformer into a cooking blog, but I have just run across a recipe that has changed my view of mornings!

If you like to treat yourself to a Frappuccino at Starbucks or your local coffee beanery but wish you could make one at home and save a little money- I have found the greatest recipe.

If you are trying to lose weight and want a special treat to tide you over through those mid-morning or mid-afternoon craving- I have found the recipe.

If you know you need to add more milk to your diet but can't stand drinking a glass of milk – boy, have I found a recipe.

This comes from Recipezaar.com

Mocha Frappuccino (sugar free)
1 cup skim milk
2 T Splenda granular
2 T sugar-free mocha instant coffee (any of the General Foods International's will do but I use the Suisse Mocha powder)
1 T instant coffee crystals (this recipe is SUPER caffeinated so if you can't handle all that caffeine, use decaf – that's what I do)
1-1/2 cups ice.

Mix all together in a blender and enjoy! It makes one serving, but I get two full glasses from the recipe. Very filling, super energy booster, really tasty and sugar free.

You don't have to go out and spend a fortune for a little slice of heaven right in your own kitchen.

Just like Campbell soups used to sing "hmmmm good!"
