Take a Trip to Amsterdam’s Red Light District

One of the benefits (or sometimes downside) of being a public blogger is that you get dozens of PR reps wanting to have you give their client publicity on your blog. I received the notice below today.
Move over MySpace…Social networking has taken a risqué turn: Redlightcenter.com is a virtual world where users can create their own avatar (a cartoon-like character) and fulfill fantasies they may not experience in real life. Through their alter-egos, people can experience dating, dancing, and other intimate activities as found in the Red Light District.
Would you be interested in an interview with the founder of the site?
Now I normally would not give such a site exposure but I think it is appropriate in that social networking has grown up and is going after the adult market in new ways, with a massively parallel game system combined with dating, chat and messaging.
Anita Campbell recently wrote about another online animation site called Second Life which means we now have a trend, online virtual worlds where we can be whoever we choose to for fun, connection or more.
Do you know of other online animation efforts targeted at adults?
