You can't read his books once and capture all he has to teach.
Case in point - The Brand You 50 : Or : Fifty Ways to Transform Yourself from an 'Employee' into a Brand That Shouts Distinction, Commitment, and Passion!
I'm listening to the book and although there are a million things I want to take notes about as I listen - I'm driving and can't pull out a pen. But the reader's passion for the subject is inspiring. It's one of those books you need to read for content, but listen to for the emotional push that will get you to change your current behavior.
The book is for anyone who wants to be anything. Basically - anyone.
Whether you are an hourly cubicle employee working for The Man or an executive wanting to stay in the game or an entrepreneur - there is something for you in this book.
In the beginning of the book he's trying to get you to think outside the norm of your job; who you are in your job and what you provide to your customers.
He starts with having you redesign your job description. Tom's job description?
"To do cool shit every damn day or die trying."
Now that's a job description. Do you look at your job that way?
TTD (Things to do) - check out this book for some great tips on how you are perceived and how you view yourself!
So what would your job description be?
