Things I Should Have Blogged About…
I've been kind of distracted for a couple of weeks now with a variety of demands on my time that I somehow failed to see as converging all at once. I won't bore you with the details…
As I look back over the past couple of weeks, five BusinessWeek articles stand out that at least deserved a mention. So here they are, getting just that (a mention):
- Most recently, Economists Rush to Disagree About Crisis Solutions, on March 8th. Will the Sitmulus Plan make things better or worse, make us richer or poorer? My crystal ball is broken. It's amazing how many people out there think that theirs is in good working order, though.
- On March 5th, The Good, Bad, and Ugly in Hedge Funds: A Manager's View. An insightful piece by a hedge fund manager.
- On March 4th, PC Industry Facing Worst Slump in History. That's how you know it's bad – when people stop buying computers…
- On February 24th, Cutting Mature Workers Widens the Wisdom Deficit. Regardless of your financial position, now is not the time to get rid of your most experienced people if you're planning on life after the recession.
- On February 20th, The Stimulus' Key Small Business Tax Provisions. A good look at one way the Stimulus Plan may affect your business.
Enjoy…
