With the holidays just a few weeks away, shoppers are beginning to prepare for one of the most hectic times of the year.

According to a new study commissioned by Office Depot, nearly half (46 percent) of all shoppers surveyed reported that finding the perfect gifts for family, friends and colleagues as the most challenging aspect of the season.

Adding to the pressure of finding a thoughtful gift is the amount of time and money spent in the process. According to the survey, 44 percent of respondents cite sticking to a budget as the greatest concern for this holiday season, proving the need for a well-organized shopping strategy.

Additionally, 39 percent of shoppers note that shopping for gifts would take up the majority of their time in December. And it's no surprise given that more than half of all shoppers (56 percent) visit five or more locations when purchasing holiday gifts.

With the challenge of shopping looming ahead, many people are looking for ways to make their shopping more efficient.
