US Post Office Gets "With It"

When I think of the post office, I think tradition, regulation, boring. But you might be surprised to learn that the USPS is getting "hip!"
You are probably aware of the fact that you can now print your postage from your computer – a great service designed to save time and money.
But did you know that the post office will help create unique, dye-cut marketing mailers that focus on your message and not the stamp, return address and cancellation stamp?
Check out this PDF example of how unique your message can be. Click here.
Question: is it too little too late? Are businesses switching their direct mail marketing efforts to the virtual market of e-mail campaigns.

It’s probably not too little too late for those that are still using mailers as part of their marketing strategy.
For those of us mostly using online means, it does nothing to make us want to switch to their services. At least it doesn’t for me.

Thanks Gary for your response. You are right on. And with the news that there will be another hike in postage on top of the 2 cent raise this year – it becomes and even more unattractive way to reach your customers.
