Venture Fund Makes New Entrepreneurial Tools Available
Sevin Rosen Funds a venture capital firm for the first time is making available to all entrepreneurs what was previously only available to their portfolio companies via a web page they call the Entrepreneur Exchange or EE.

The EE, while not intended to include all resources essential for a start-up, does contain a number of customizable documents, guidelines and templates for strategic planning -- Determining Market Sizing, Planning Successful Product Launches, PR Plan Outline, executive job descriptions. More will be added.

Since SRF is turning 25 this year, they consider the EE a way to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship both inside and outside their network. Think of it as loosely open-sourcing the formula for building great companies (emphasis on loosely).

The long-term goal is that the EE resources will be expanded, refined and shared among a new wave of entrepreneurs. They have a feedback/dialogue box attached to each document. Additionally, they will link to leading entrepreneurial resources (soon).
