I don't post a lot on the subject of blogging. Although I blog quite a bit, certainly far more than I ever thought I would, I don't dip my toe into the blog on blogging space very often. There are just too many great resources out there on blogging and I rarely think I can materially add to what others are dutifully sharing each and every day.
So, what am I doing now? Writing a post on blogging. But this will be short and to the point. The topic is blog carnivals.
It surprises me that as many blogs as there are and how each of us crave more and more traffic, that few take advantage of one of the easiest ways to introduce their blog to new readers and get more links – blog carnivals.
The beauty of a blog carnival is you don't have to write anything new, you just have to submit something you've written to others to linking to. How simple can that be? This simple.
There are countless blog carnivals for countless audiences. Blog carnivals are a great way to get new links, reach new audiences, and get more subscribers. If you have a blog, you should susubmit posts to carnivals every week.
And host a carnival now and then…it's a bonus level of traffic that drives new readers to your site each and every day. Just find the carnival you wish to host, contact the administrator from the blog carnival's admin page and get your name put on a date. Blog carnivals are a simple and effective way to grow your blog.
