What Color is Your Parachute?

What Color is Your Parachute?

Let's start the New Year with information that takes very little brain power.

Do you remember the book What Color is Your Parachute? A fantastic guide to discovering the perfect career path based on your success factors. It has been updated multiple times since its original printing.

But today's question is what color is your car, and what does it say about you?

In the November 28, 2006 edition of Woman's World magazine, they had an article based on a British insurance company study that determined what personalities drive a particular color car.

We all know red cars are pulled over the most (driven by energetic, dynamic fast talkers, but did you know it is actually the drivers of white cars that drive the fastest? White car drivers tend to be assertive personality types.

Black cars are involved in the most accidents and their owners are more apt to take risks.

Silver cars have the fewest accidents – could it be because they are easier to see? Their drivers are cool and calm.

Blue and Green car drivers are family oriented and are more likely to be careful on the road and in life while driver's of gold and tan cars (that would be me) are the most polite on the road.

Not many driver's select the color yellow but those that do are considered one-of-kind, intelligent and imaginative.

The article goes on to state that 40% of buyers will chose a different car model if they can't get the color they want. Wow!
