A friend just emailed me. She wants to get together to celebrate my 50th birthday that was two months ago. Weekends work for her.
I emailed back and said the soonest I could get together was November 3rd.
She's out of town then.
I suggested Nov 17th.
That's the Ohio State vs. Michigan game, she's a huge fan.
We are now looking at a weekend in December.
That's three months away - for a dinner.
How did our lives get so jam packed? I don't know when it happened but suddenly time is more precious than gold.
If this is true for you, check out the collaborative efforts in coming up with 33 ways to manage time over at Inspiration Bit.
It is a wonderful collection of blogs that speak to managing time, however, I DON'T HAVE TIME to read 33 blogs on time management and so I am saving the link to refer to one at a time.
The one that jumped out at me was written by Ideanpink who offers THREE tips. Three tips I have time for. I clicked and read the headlines and it was all I needed - she is right on. Her tips:
Prioritize
Delegate
Say No
I have the hardest time with numbers two and three.
What do you do when you are pressed for time and need to get organized quickly?
