Would You Pass the Global IQ Test?

How do you make your way as a business person in a foreign country, when your country of origin is seen as a negative? Or even if it isn't, how can you operate most successfully in a different country? What are some of the important differences to keep in mind, and how can you make them work for you, not against you? Laurel Delaney of GlobalTrade.com writes about these things in her Global Small Business Blog. Would you pass her Global IQ Test?
). Can you embrace uncertainty and rise to the occasion?
). What about an all-encompassing perspective? Do you have it?
). Are you adaptable, do you take risks and can you be innovative?
). Are you prepared to cultivate your international contacts?
). Are you willing to learn as much as possible about the culture in which you are about to do business?
). Do you have passion, enthusiasm, playfulness and curiosity?
). Do you have the guts to go the distance?
). Do you have enormous reserves of energy along with patience and stick-to-it-iveness?
). Got courage? You better because freedom in this world is born from courage.
